Forest Graffiti

Forest Graffiti aims to bring awareness to Bulgaria's forests through street art in hopes of sparking public discourse around forest-related concerns. The project was realized in collaboration with Dzhoana Dahabre and Visionary Foundation.

The mural space is located in Burgas' most popular picnic park, where visitors often litter the grassy areas. We created a forest scene featuring beloved forest critters, the focal point being a Red-headed woodpecker feeding her hatchlings a cigarette butt.

Sofia is Bulgaria's capital and most populated urban area. It's nested at the foot of Vitosha Mountain, where forest fires have become an annual occurrence.

Pernik is a mountainous town surrounded by forests. Unfortunately, increased logging has caused massive deforestation. We painted and abstract scene where a red line(the heartbeat of the forest) is disrupted and destroyed by a chainsaw.
