DAEMON HAUS

Socrates was well know for following his daemon. So much so, that he went along with his death sentencing because his daemon didn't oppose it. Socrates talks about it as an inner voice that guides a person's actions - nowadays we call that a conscience.

Later on, Carl Jung focused a lot of his work on exploring the inner archetypes. The way I conceptualize them is like tenants living inside a person's mind, talking, wanting, and influencing one's actions.

I let mine come to the surface through spray painting. In order to have a minimal influence on them, I approach the painting process with zero preparation. I don't plan on when to perform it so that I can catch my consciousness off-guard. I never have a sketch or a predetermined idea that I want to work on.

My only interests are that what comes out is genuine, and that I only use spray paint in the process.
